In addition, you will make an impact in this role by… 



·       Contributing to the definition of IAG Group strategy, policy, standards and direction for IT Business Continuity/Operational Resilience/High Availability and Disaster Recovery

·       Managing and developing all aspects of IT Business Continuity requirements at an operational and strategic level

·       Designing, implementing and exercising business continuity systems and processes; working with business stakeholders to identify and document critical business impacts, recovery plans and priorities

·       Performing business impact analyses (BIA) and risk assessments to identify the organisation’s critical processes, to quantify the impact of a major disruption and to identify threats the organisation is exposed to

·       Defining continuity strategies based on the results of the business impact analysis and risk assessments and draft plans to enhance the resilience capabilities of the organisation

·       Preparing, facilitate and evaluate exercises in order to enhance the preparedness of the organisation to deal with disruptive events

·       Defining, implement and update key metrics for Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery

·       Supporting the implementation of the frameworks for Crisis Management, Business Continuity, IT Disaster Recovery and Resilience Governance to align to the Group Resilience Strategy

·       Supporting crisis and resilience management specialists in the different missions on operational, tactical & strategic level

·       Following-up on evolutions in the field of business continuity, crisis management & disaster recovery, developing and sharing knowledge

·       This role may require travel and working from multiple sites/locations. Willing and able to travel to participate in meetings, workshops, and other related activities




To achieve in this role, you are likely to…  




·       Have a strong background in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery within a large/complex business environment

·       Have certifications in ISO22301 or CBCI and demonstrable experience of working to apply these in a professional environment

·       Have proven expertise in the domain of crisis and continuity management.

·       Have strong business partnering skills, working as a valued partner with internal and external stakeholders across a diverse operation

·       Have a proven track record of participating or leading Business Continuity or Disaster Recovery programmes, delivering within budget and on time

·       Ideal have driven Disaster Recovery within a Cloud technology environment

·       Have good business and process analysis skills

·       The ability to transform industry trends into practical, cost effective solutions  

·       Have an ability to influence senior business stakeholders in order to bring about change and process improvements

·       Experience of operating across multiple countries and cultures is desirable, but not essential
