The role is part of our Service and Infrastructure team and has the objective of assessing impact caused by significant IT incidents, as well as the corresponding management and informational tasks until the service is restored.


In addition, you will make an impact in this role by… 

  • Building and maintaining a relationship of trust with both business and IT stakeholders, regularly engaging with them in order to capture their perception of the IT service and identify points for improvement or unblock requests for service

  • Acting as a consultative figure for the evaluation of the impact on the business of the interruptions of the IT services, in order to activate and lead the appropriate recovery and notification procedures for each criticality level.

  • Proactively proposing, managing and monitoring the execution of initiatives for continuous improvement of processes, operations and monitoring tools, support models and infrastructures,

  • Managing day to day supplier relationships, ensuring any third-party deliverables meet strategic and technical requirements. 

To achieve in this role, you are likely to…  

  • Provide technical background in understanding complex IT system layouts and transactional models which imply several applications interconnecting or sharing data, 

  • Have strong consultancy skills, providing advice and guidance in area of expertise having the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders  

  • Show project management skills, organising and planning projects from vision to implementation and review

  • Be knowledgeable in understanding system architectures

  • Fluent English

  • Proven experience with ITIL best practises.

  • Prove to be a true business partner, working as a valued partner with internal and external stakeholders across a diverse operation, delivering a value-added service to customers

  • Show good application of supplier management skills, building effective relationships through a business partnering approach, ensuring service levels are maintained for business customers

  •  Have experience of operating across multiple countries and cultures is desirable, but not essential

  • Provide solid experience in coordinating recovery works for high-impact IT incidents
