Cargo Revenue Accounting Team Leader

Location: Cracow

In addition, you will make an impact in this role by…

• Performing quality control against SLAs  
• Leading and developing the delivery team in line with company priorities and scope of services assigned 
• Overseeing and monitoring risk and actions related to end-to-end CRA process in the monthly and quarterly cycle 
• Supporting Offshore Team in running and controlling transactional processes 
• Developing onshore function towards excellence in ICFR and operational control 
• Regular reporting on service delivery and handling escalations  
• Managing the Cargo Revenue Accounting system (RAPID), inward and outward interfaces (from business perspective) and end-to-end CRA freight and mail processes (including reference data setup/maintenance, billing & invoicing, revenue recognition, interline  and reporting) on behalf of IAG Cargo for all Group Carriers ( Iberia, Aer Lingus, Vueling and Level) 
• Reconciling against source (various cargo and mail systems) and target systems (i.e. IATA settlements, SAP, various operational or Management Information Systems)  
• Managing month-end close in RAPID and prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports 
• Managing suppliers (BPO and system vendor) SLAs 
• Supporting CRA process and results queries 
• Managing customer billing disputes for Spain 
• Supporting customer billing disputes for the rest of the world 
• Providing evidences for internal controls (ICFRs/SCIIFs) 
• Liaising with IT support regarding CRA system defects and developments (as and when required) 
• Maintaining documentation of processes and functional specifications 
• Working with IATA for settlement system changes and enhancements 
• Leading service delivery in CRA area for IB 
• Regular reporting on service delivery and handling escalations  
• Being responsible for performance and development of the team from setting objectives through mid-year and annual review 
• Motivating, developing and coaching team members to achieve best results 
• Operational responsibility for the performance of third-party BPO service provider 

To achieve in this role, you are likely to… 

• Have a degree in the business discipline required - accounting, finance  
• Have proven knowledge of the airline/cargo industry and its solutions 
• Have excellent analytical and decision-making skills 
• Be focused on excellence and results 
• Be able to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines 
• Have CASS/CNS knowledge and SAP Experience  
• Have strong leadership and cooperation skills  
• Be fluent in English (fluency in Spanish would be an asset)  
• Have min of 3 years’ experience as a Team Leader in an international environment 
• Be experienced in Revenue Accounting process/cargo billing in the airline industry would be an asset 
• Have experience of operating across multiple countries and cultures is desirable 
• Have experience of, and contribution to, applicable industry best practice, leading and shaping further development 
• Be experienced in internal controls and audit  
• Have transition experience including writing and updating procedures, process maps 
• Have proven ability to work with different levels of management and stakeholders
