In addition, you will make an impact in this role by… 

·       Working as part of a newly formed Cyber Security team

·       Working closely with our Irish Operating companies - including Aer Lingus - to understand their current Cyber Security status and Policies, identifying areas of vulnerability and improvement

·       Build strong relationships and become a trusted adviser to internal stakeholders in order to identify key areas of priority, concern and risk within the relevant operating companies

·       Work to enable the implementation of centrally driven cyber initiatives that are well aligned to business needs.

·       Develop and write Security Policies and produce the documentation to outline these

·       Communicate the businesses needs with the wider Cyber Security team and external partners.

·       Support the IAG Cyber Security team in their engagement with the business, particularly assisting in training & awareness and policy implementation.

To achieve in this role, you are likely to…  

  • Have strong IT security technical skills spanning cyber security best practice

  • Have a proven track record of successful deliveries in a cyber security role, creating and implementing security policies whilst driving training and awareness with stakeholders   

  • Demonstrable experience of building strong relationships and working as a valued partner with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Leveraging stakeholder relationships to drive engagement across a large and complex business environment.

  • Experience of operating across multiple countries or in global business environments is desirable, but not essential

  • Ideally have a Cyber Security qualification such as PCIRM or CISMP (desirable)
