FP&A Process Lead

Location: Krakow, Poland

Purpose of the role...

Managing the process of robust and meaningful analytical output and value driver measurements that inform business direction and good decision making at a group and corporate and OpCo management team level.

Reviewing and providing performance management information including spend analysis, providing insight to FBPs on costs and revenues and commenting on adverse variances, risks and opportunities and options to address these.

Growing and maintaining good working relationships with team, OpCo and Group business partners in corporate finance teams, becoming a trusted and valued service provider.

Contributing insight and understanding of performance to finance business partners and their business counterparts, to guide regular performance management cycles, including regular finance performance reviews and planning.

Driving continuous improvement of analytics and business insights ensuring SLAs are met, governance is in place, and the quality of service is assured.

Developing expertise in the area of responsibility. Lead the process simplifications and improvements. Outline the current state and challenge it. Advising new solutions, describe them in documentationand supervise their implementation. 

Supervising owned process by working with managers, team members and other stakeholders. Share knowledge and ideas with team members to develop and strengthen the team

Supporting team members in analysis and accountancy, react proactively to business needs as required

Attending Governance Meetings as required/delegated by the finance operations manager

Proactively supporting during the new ERP implementation

In addition, you will make an impact in this role by…

Constructively challenging analytics processes and methodologies, recommending changes that enhance and constantly improve the quality of output. Constantly searching for process improvement opportunities; monitor process and performance to make recommendations for changes. Make changes to standard operating procedures as needed.

Identifying risks and issues in business processes and systems; monitoring internal controls and making recommendations as needed; supporting internal and external audit as well as risk identification process as required

Coordinating work of people involved in the process, including people from other departments.

Reducing process errors, improving process results.

Acting as a primary point of contact for the stakeholders involved in the process; leveraging own knowledge and experience to advise and support them.

Conducting financial modelling and scenario analysis which informs strategic decisions and supports project management, business cases and capital forecasting.

Providing information and analytics to support the financial and business planning process.

Analysing variances and explore potential issues, making recommendations to the Finance Business Partner and advise on impact.

Providing analysis to support decisions on third-party contracts, including financial modelling of scenarios for optimal contract terms to minimise expenditures.

Performing ad-hoc analysis to support FBP organisation using Power BI, Excel or other tools.

Proactively collaborating with all levels of management.

To achieve in this role, you are likely to…  

Have a degree in Finance and Accounting or related field

Have at least 2 years experience in financial analysis

Advanced knowledge of SAP and Excel intermediate of Power BI

Have experience implementing ERPs
