In addition, you will make an impact in this role by…

·       Providing legal advice to IAG GBS Poland’s Leadership Team and Management Board

·       Providing on-going legal support of IAG GBS Group Procurement and Procurement Operations Teams (providing legal advice, participation in the negotiation process, contract review)

·       Being the Liaison/coordination with IAG Legal Department and with the Operating Companies’ (OpCos) Legal Departments with jointly delivered projects and activities

·       Creating and implementating of procurement internal procedures and policies

·       Providing on-going legal support of IAG GBS and IAG GBS Poland as required

·       Providing internal legal and compliance training for IAG GBS functions and employees

·       Managing external legal advisors (where approved) to ensure that external advice provides appropriate levels of quality and cost

·       Verifying compliance of personal data processing in IAG GBS with data protection laws and preparing an annual report for IAG GBS Management Board

·       Advising IAG GBS Senior Management and Board Members in terms of data protection/privacy laws

·       Supervising development and update of the internal procedures and policies with personal data governance in IAG GBS 

·       Ensuring that the senior management and employees authorised to process personal data become acquainted with the provisions on the protection of personal data

·       Supervising internal data protection training in IAG GBS 

·       Creating and maintaining of IAG GBS database register by data-protection laws

·       Representing IAG GBS Poland before authorities in matters related to data protection and privacy

·       Being the liaison/coordination with IAG Legal Department and with the OpCos Legal Departments with GDPR implementation program across the IAG Group

·       Providing ongoing support for IAG GBS Poland with the implementation of GDPR-requirements

To achieve in this role, you are likely to have… 

·       University degree in Law

·       Negotiating skills

·       Highly effective communication and influencing skills

·       People management skills

·       Fluency in English

·       Qualified Polish Legal Counsel (Radca Prawny) with experience of working with English law contracts

·       Experience of commercial, IT and outsourcing contracts

·       Excellent knowledge of Polish and EU Data Protection/Privacy law

·       Proven track record experience in Data Protection/Privacy law
