Purpose of the role

  • To ensure the accurate and timely delivery of the agreed regional finance processes within a dedicated Group’s OpCo
  • To ensure the accurate and timely delivery of the agreed regional finance processes within a dedicated Group’s OpCo 
  • To handle queries from OpCo representatives, local supplier and partners in accordance with established protocols 
  • To champion excellent service and continuous process improvement to implement those driving efficiencies
  • To manage financial and process risk and adhere to internal and external compliance obligations 

In addition, you will make an impact in this role by…


Carrying out day to day processes within area of responsibility including: 
  • Financial reporting: local books preparation including liaison with local advisors; raising and filling specific invoices as per local requirements 
  • Resolving day to day queries and operational issues from the supported OpCo regional finance organisation and other regional/in-country partners and stakeholders within area of responsibility 
  • Searching for process standardisation and improvement opportunities in the covered area and/or across wider PtP Team; contribute to further alignment with IAG GBS Finance Global Process framework 
  • Creating and governing standard operating procedures as needed and maintaining DTPs and process maps
  • Undertaking user training for processes and systems as required
  • Handling refunds for individual customers with close cooperation with local Sales Points in Spain

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of working in a finance and accounting environment 

  • Have a degree in Finance and Accounting or other related field

  • Operate effectively in a fast-moving, global environment with tight deadlines and finite resources 

  • Be customer focused and committed to exceeding customer expectations and continuous improvement 

  • Have excellent analytical skills and experience of using Excel to manipulate large volumes of data 

  • Be highly computer literate with the ability to develop knowledge where required and work around both, the new and legacy systems 

  • Have knowledge of global business compliance and regulatory context 

  • Have stakeholder management skills across a diverse geographic region and at multiple levels, with the gravitas to engage with and influence stakeholders 

  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills 

  • Be an exceptional problem solver 

  • Be fluent in English & Spanish
