RTR Process Lead

Location: Cracow

Purpose of the role

Group-wide steering, development, harmonisation and optimisation of the dedicated area within RtR. Developing common process definition, measurements, methodology and tools to drive end-to-end process improvements across IAG. Responsibility for the performance of the function in the designated area including the performance review with the operating companies.

Driving projects to streamline and improve RtR processes.

Managing financial risk and adhering to internal and external compliance obligations is a key part of this role; providing information to internal and external auditors as required

Process management and governance:

·      Managing the RtR processes within area of responsibility

·      Managing the GBS teams and proper execution through the SLA and KPIs

·      Monitoring process documentation, compliance and controls, ensure communication and education protocols are in place

·      Proposing initiatives to address non-compliance and raise standards

·      Ensuring all audit action points are actioned on time

·      Governing RtR applications user access

·      Ensuring business resilience plans are up to date and communicated

·      Managing the resolution of complex process queries from stakeholders, both external and internal

·      Active participation in governance meetings

·      Undertaking user training for processes and systems as required

End to End process improvement across the Group

·      Conducting root cause analysis to identify ways in which group processes can be harmonised and improved through centralisation to increase process efficiency, while accommodating operating company requirements

·      Developing proposals for the design and build of new group finance processes and procedures, systems and reporting, providing leadership and strict guidance to meet business needs and requirements

·      Identifying opportunities for quick wins and continuous improvement across group processes

·      Driving changes ensuring convergence, performance improvement and process consistency, with the support of the Finance Transformation programme team   

To achieve in this role, you are likely to… 

·     Posses BS/MS degree in Finance, Economics or related field

·      Posses professional finance qualifications and degree in Finance and Accounting or related field

·      Have knowledge and experience in a finance, accounting environment and global business compliance and regulatory context

·          Have good understanding of the end to end RtR process and policies and good level of practical finance experience in financial accounting and internal controls

·           Have sponsorship and stakeholder management skills across a diverse geographic region and at multiple levels, with the gravitas to engage with and influence stakeholders

·           Have strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to align diverse views and gain consensus, providing clarity and direction on what is to be achieved

·           Have exceptional problem solving, issue resolution, people management and communication skills

·           Be able to operate effectively in a fast moving, global environment with tight deadlines and finite resources

·           Have good IT skills and experience in SAP is an asset

·      Speak very good English (Spanish would be an asset)

·      Posses experience as a corporate shared services process leader, or as a process leader in a business; Proven track record for implementation of financial process transition and transformation programmes. Posses experience managing large scale projects in a fast-paced, complex global organisation
