In addition, you will make an impact in this role by… 


  • Working for a team focused on supporting and enabling IT delivery teams.
  • Develop continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipelines that initiate code builds, run automated tests and deploy software into staged and production environments (Cloud based)
  • Attend requirements meetings and understand the business needs in order to convert them into technical solutions
  • Develop workflows through Jenkins (or other CI/CD tools) to manage and create complex, multi step pipelines
  • Work alongside team members on the design of solutions
  • Ensure coding is robust and available
  • Upon completion, demonstrate the benefit to the business in order for new processes to be followed correctly.

To achieve in this role, you are likely to…  


  • Have strong technical skills with automation tools- ideally Jenkins or Jira
  • Have demonstrable experience of developing and managing numerous pipelines and workflows simultaneously
  • Have supported releases across a variety of departments 
  • Have strong communication skills and the ability to demonstrate the effectiveness and business benefits of the solutions you create.
  • Have strong knowledge of Configuration, Release and Deployment management processes
  • Have technical knowledge/experience with open source technologies such as Java, SOAP API or AngularJS.
