Supply Chain Specialist

Location: Madrid, Spain.

Ensure a high level Supply Chain process for all our OpCos providing a best in class service to them; Creating proper reporting and process transparency according to the agreed procedure; Meeting Service Level Agreement (SLA) and KPIs; analysing results regularly; Support in resolving questions related to Purchase Orders from Business users; Function as a Business partner to stakeholders


In addition, you will make an impact in this role by…

·     Review requisition requirements, source for Suppliers and create Purchase Orders in the system

·     Process execution according to agreed procedures and Service Level Agreement (SLA; analysing and reporting results

·     Creation and maintenance of processing documentation

·     Monitor payment accuracy for on-scope suppliers to ensure and maintain proper business relations

·     Continuous improvement in own area of responsibility; simplification, automation and robotisation (machine learning capabilities) of Supply Chain process and its reporting feasibilities

·     Track and report supplier performance cross OpCos

·     Prepare the proper reporting for the stakeholders as per agreed timeliness

·     Provide support to our Procurement Operations team with the catalogue’s creation in the Procurement system

·     Support to our Procurement teams in purchases above threshold


To achieve in this role, you are likely to… 

·     MS degree in Finance, Economics, Legal or related fields

·     Have Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to evaluate, analyse and solve problems

·     Possess Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence, align diverse views and gain consensus, providing clarity and direction on what is to be achieved and break down barriers that get in the way of effective team working

·     Stakeholder management skills across a diverse geographic region and at multiple levels, with the gravitas to engage with and influence stakeholders

·     Ability to operate effectively in an environment with tight deadlines and finite resources

·     Self driven person, precise and well organized

·     Commitment to service excellence, process improvements and automation; strong customer focus; excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

·     Language skills: Fluency in English and Spanish

·     Knowledge of working in international Financial, Accounting and/or Procurement organisation preferably in the Source to Pay (StP) or Procure to Pay (PtP)

·     Experience in supplier and contract management, data capturing, analysing and presenting

·     Working experience with process maps and procedures will be an asset

·     Good understanding of corporate compliance & controls standards and practical experience in applying them in the accounting space

·     Working proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Ariba and SAP HANA;

·     Willingness to travel (~20% of the time) and work in a multi-site/location environment
